Please find attached my CV detailing my recent and past experience. I am an experienced project planner who understands the project process and its challenges. Having spent the majority of my career in a variety of engineering and technological environments, including an indentured apprenticeship, I have become very flexible in adapting to different situations and industries.
I have over fourteen years of planning experience using Primavera P3, P3e, P6, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. I have planned, monitored and controlled a variety of projects from inception to final handover for short, medium and long term programmeswith values ranging from £5k to £2.8bn. I have also taken over live projects and planned them through to completion.
Having been employed in the rail, pharmaceutical and power generation industries for the past twenty years, the majority of my work has involved maintenance, renewals, upgrades, enhancement works and new build to both site and plant; the past seven years of which I have been working in the power generation and supply industry. During all this time my work has been conducted entirely in safety critical environments.
As a project planner I am conversant with researching, collecting and analysing data, progress tracking, problem solving and finding solutions. I possess excellent time management skills and am adept at working to deadlines, producing reports for various stakeholders including engineers, project managers, senior management and clients.
I develop good working relationships with both internal and external teams, along with clients and contractors. I have a good eye for detail and am very organised and thorough in my approach, producing high quality work.
