Please be advised that I would like to be considered for the planning role as advertised on and would like to highlight some of the key benefits of bringing me in to the team.
· A pragmatic approach and an ability to understand team issues and sensitivities, whilst still maintaining the focus on deliverables, prove invaluable in ensuring projects remain on track. Still able to secure team members and stakeholders ongoing commitment in the process.
· Extensive knowledge and experience, coupled with a track record of frequently exceeding clients expectations, ensures the team gains a self-driven PMO whose high standards for himself and his function ensure effectiveness at all times.
· Extremely well organised and methodical, whilst still able to quickly respond to ad hoc requests and emerging situations.
· No stranger to working in high pressure environments and deadline orientated.
Some of the experience gained includes:
Ø Reporting Lead for a major change and business process re-engineering programme, rolling out SAP to 27 countries;
Ø PMO Manager for 30 projects for the IT division of AT&T in Holland, taking over a newly set up PMO and embedding best practice adapted to the company’s needs, after their running ineffective project portfolios to address billing issues;
Ø PMO Planning Lead for the transition of a gas utilities company over to new back office systems and front office SAP implementation rollout. This involved major change as existing staff were transferred and all major systems were replaced, including safety critical regulatory systems.
With a depth of knowledge and capabilities often lacking in lesser well rounded candidates, combined with considerable hands-on experience, I think your company will find I am ideally suited for the role in question.
I can be available for work and interview immediately as I live locally and look forward to hearing from you in the very near future.
Regards
Ian Hush
