Profile
A highly proficient, self-driven Project Management and PMO professional who firmly believes in tailoring the solution to the client’s needs.
Project and PMO support is not a one size fits all as some often consider being the case. It is sometimes necessary to cut through the ‘noise’ of daily project/programme activity to get to what the real problem is. Then we can provide a solution that will deliver effective project support and tracking moving forward.
With a pragmatic and results orientated approach, I particularly excel at helping clients recover failing PMO's as well as setting up new PMO functions at short notice, with the ability to instil structure and focus where needed and reinvigorate project momentum when fading.
Acquired in-depth expertise over 13 years, in fast moving and high-pressure environments both in the UK & abroad. I have addressed a broad range of Project Management challenges and solutions along the way and mentored numerous successful and experienced project managers and PMO staff. This coupled with a proven track record of providing excellent customer satisfaction at all levels.

Achievements:
Ø Rapidly implemented changes to tracking and reporting methods that led to turn around times for critical reports reduced from 21/2 days to 1/2 a day with much improved quality of associated information. This and other initiatives led to our work stream, which was the largest in the division, going from being poorly regarded to considered one of the most streamlined and efficient.
Ø Provided focussed planning and risk management function, which helped in successful delivery of back office programme against aggressive timelines. This led to my client obtaining additional business from their end client. End client then asked I be assigned to their PMO for duration of front office SAP solution.
Ø Implemented major re-planning exercise of high profile, government related programme. This highlighted the fact that the programme needed to slip a minimum of 3 months to meet quality expectations Yet the government client stated they “finally have confidence in the information provided” and accepted the recommendations. The programme had been running a year at the point of my joining the programme.
Ø Responsible for 18 data integrity projects within a global telecoms dark fibre network provider, built consensus across all functional lines to facilitate data integrity initiatives and strengthen inter-departmental co-operation, whilst consistently exceeding the Programme Director’s expectations.
