Planning Engineer, have in-depth knowledge of pre and post contract, as well as tender planning of multi disciplined projects.
I initially started my career as a Site setting-out Engineer working for Bovis Civil Engineering on a M25 motorway project in 1983, and Balfour Beatty Construction introduced me to Planning in mid 80’s which I continued since then, and progressed through a variety of planning positions. I workedfor Construction, Civil, and Rail (Station Regeneration as well as Euston Upgrading and Willesden Station Signalling/Rail upgrading) & London Underground (Tube Line Piccadilly Line Extension to T5 and Station Upgrading Tender programmes).
Through the time I have been responsible for preparing and monitoring programme for both pre and post contract projects using a variety of planning tools, I am able to work on my own as well as within a team environment
Currently employed by Balfour Beatty Major Projects as a Lead Planner for M25 Widening Project from J16 to J23
