Enthusiastic Construction Management graduate with experience in construction planning, currently working for an industrial re-roofing specialist.
Whilst working as a planning engineer for GB Building Solutions I developed significant planning skills and a great interest for the discipline. I had hoped to progress through a 5 year fast-track training program with GB to the level of senior planner, due to the recession this was no longer possible. I am still in contact with the company and on good terms, they have promised to contact myself when they start recruiting again but I am very keen to return to a planning role as soon as possible.
I am currently working for an industrial re-roofing and cladding specialist and have been doing some planning for them as well as estimating, site and contracts management. However, due to the specialist nature of their works I feel my professional development is limited and would like to return to a company involved in the planning of wider and more varied construction activities and tasks.
Whilst at GB I became proficient with Asta Power Project. I have also completed a planning module at university using MS Project and was awarded a first.
I am a good communicator, enthusiastic and very willing to progress my knowledge of planning!
