I am a degree civil qualified engineer and member of IET, ACostE and APM responsible for the planning, engineering and execution of asset care projects from conception to handover. I have been employed within the heavily regulated nuclear, defence and aviation industries for the last 8 years. I am currently studying a electrical and mechanical foundation degree and also a post graduate certificate in safety critical systems.
I am currently contracted as the asset care project manager at a nuclear facility. Managing a team of a dozen project personnel this requires design and project management across all engineering disciplines. My current responsibilities include the contract management of three site incumbent contractors (building, scaffolding and electrical) and the delivery of a diverse range of maintenance and infrastructure upgrade activities and projects. These include reactor pressure vessel camera inspections, installation of site contractor accommodation and site wide electrical maintenance and infrastructure improvements.
I have a total of 16 years’ construction experience and have performed roles in project engineering, planning and construction management. I employ strong project control ethics alongside a technical approach to project management to deliver robust and cost effective solutions.
