Consistently manage planning teams to develop a suite of planning and cost programmes, monitor against baselines and produce project control reports to enable performance analysis and recommendations to be made.
Strong build experience in Main Contracting Civils / Rail projects.
Instigate robust processes for tracking Risks / Assumptions / Change on a regular basis, for internal and external review.
Confidently challenge programmes alongside the contracts – Quantities, Costs, Durations, sequence of works, Risks, Change and Assumptions. Adopt full auditability and traceability in all channels of work.
Scrutinise contractor programmes to ascertain complete alignment with expectations of the client and the project.
Construct Tender programmes alongside Procurement & Commercial teams that are robust and highly competitive in timescales. Demonstrated on railway infrastructure (Carillion Rail / Network Rail / May Gurney Rail / Westinghouse) and Airport buildings (London Heathrow T5).
With a distinct planning bias, able to incorporate both planning and cost engineering methodologies and ensure an integrated project control approach is adopted.
