Dear Sirs,
I am responding to the advert for 'Planning Engineer - Thailand' and enclosed my CV for your review and consideration.
I have 13 years experience in programming, scheduling, and projects control and multi-disciplinary interface management in major railway and airport infrastructure projects. I worked on the original Bangkok MRT Blue Line project under the CSC and later the MESC groups. I am currently involved in the MRT Purple Line project.
I've been involved in the following areas of project programming and scheduling:
- Project requirements assessment, activity and milestone planning, resource planning including production rates calculations and requirement assessment; interim payment schedule preparation; base-line weighted progress schedule development.
- Prepare and maintain detailed data bases and analyses of project resource utilization.
- Project progress assessment and reporting including graphical presentation summary.
- Milestones and contractual key date management.
- Co-ordinated Interface Programme development.
- Delays and time impact assessments on programme and contractual key dates.
- Review and evaluation of Contractor’s delay claims and claims for Acceleration and/or Extension of Time.
I note your requirement for TILOS experience. Although I do not have hands-on knowledge of the product, I am familiar with it from my earlier days on the Blue Line project and its principles. (Timechainage diagrams have been developed with different software packages on the projects I've been involved.) I believe I can update and familiarize myself with the TILOS product fairly quickly.
The attached CV includes more details of the projects and my responsibilities within each.
I hope that my credentials and experience will meet your requirements. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned by email or at the number given below.
Best regards,
Franco Simonetto
