I have a wide range of experience in both the construction and rail industries in which I have worked on projects varying from large and complex, high profile multi million pound projects, to small but logistically challenging fit out work. I have produced and managed projects for their entire lifecycle from tender through to completion and have experience of producing large variation programmes and incorporating these into the contract programme, while minimising impact on the project. I have also managed design teams, liaised with clients to supervise their interests and worked with external parties to co-ordinate track and station closures and services diversions.
It is my intention to continue to work on similarly challenging and rewarding projects in which I have the responsibility to add real value to my projects and my company.
I have expert experience and an extensive knowledge in Primavera Project Manager (P3e) including creating tender and detailed design and construction programmes, mitigating delays, resource management, critical path analysis and earned value monitoring. I have the skills and flexibility to also use Project Planner (P3), Microsoft Project and Asta Powerproject as directed by the needs of the client. Finally I have a strong background in mechanical engineering, from my degree at Exeter University and from my first planning work placement, which I draw on when producing and managing projects.
