Dear David,
I am writing to apply for the positions of Planning Engineer. I am ready for new challenges and willing to relocate.
Currently I am working in Halcrow as a Planning engineer. I have more than 10 years of experience in planning, project management and engineering support. I have worked on Construction, Rail, Oil & Gas and Power Projects such as Immingham Combine Heat and Power Plant in which, I identify all delays in Planning Process and suggest mitigation which results in reduce scope creep. Moreover I have a experience of front end engineering design in oil & gas industry.
I have good knowledge and experience of Project Management Information systems like Primavera P6, P5, P3e , Primavera Pertmaster Risk Analysis, MS Project, Excel and Access. I have a Masters degree in Design and Manufacturing Management from London South Bank University and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. I am working towards my Chartered status through IMECHE MPDS programme. I am planning to do PMI-Risk Management Professional RMP certification soon.
I am PMI Certified Project Management Professional. I have comprehensive knowledge and experience of project life cycle, earned value management, critical path analysis and cost management. I am an active member of Project Management Institute, Institute of Mechanical Engineering. I am enthusiastic and able to meet tight deadlines, am a loyal employee who always gives his best. I am also a team player who is able to work independently.
