Here below a brief introduction for your consideration
Started career since 1993 as a graduate bachelor degree holder, working in capacity in construction management and field (construction site) works, in various fields including oil & gas refinery, power plant, bridge construction, high rise building, heavy foundation, earthworks and some others.
I started focus in oil & gas, in LNG Liquefied Natural Gas refinery project, I am specialised in site management and also planning/ scheduling works since late 90s, that’s also when I started travel working abroad in various countries and project, including Australia (3 projects), Algeria (2 projects), Yemen, Qatar, and few more places.
As a senior planning/ scheduling manager, in both grassroot new construction and commissioning EPCC & live plant revamp & rejuvenation job, few of key role that I’m responsible to give an idea,
- setup high level (Level 2) schedule with construction director and his senior construction manager, applicable to commissioning scope, possibly resource loaded if sufficient data can be gathered, or indicatively based on experience
- setup/ form the department/ team to support the project, from design stage, construction, commissioning, closing
- develop planning and scheduling system (including construction & commissioning schedule) to initiate monitoring and tracking at various stages. Some software application to consider to be utilised at appropriate timing and its needs, including Primavera 6 or 7, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power Point, et cetra
- develop staffing mobilisation plan for the job site in overall to support the schedule and timeline, including rotational cycle
- initiate communication with Client, inter-company, different Operating Center, contractor, by mean of regular scheduled meeting, telephone or video conference
- Develop detailed resource loaded construction/ commissioning schedule, Level 3/4/5, depend the needs and requirement for the Project
- Iniate various planning strategy depending the need and situation, for instance “Weekly Work Plan” that allow site manager/ supervisor focus on specific work in specific area, not just to achieve progress but meet the project requirement, among others
