Hi,
I am a Chartered Project Management Professional, holding dual qualifications in Civil Engineering and Construction Law & Arbitration. And, is a Member (MRICS) of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, (MCIArb) Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Society of Construction Law (SCL Gulf).
I have over 21 years Experience in Construction, including 12 years experience in Project Controls, Contracts Administration and Delay Analysis.
Last 7 years, I am mainly focussed on Claims function, including:- Delay analysis, Change notification procedures, Compilation of Claim Reports with supporting documents, Claims Defence /Issuance of Rebuttals, Negotiation and Settlement.
The type of projects being involved in the Middle East, include amongst others: - villas, residential and commercial high rise towers, star hotels, Hospitals, Infrastructure / landscaping works and utility tunnels , ranging from 100 Millions to 3 Billion US Dollars.
I have sound knowledge of FIDIC’s 4thEdition Red Book, 1999 Suites; Construction and Contract Laws. Also, well versed with PRIMAVERA PROJECT PLANNER (P3.1) and PRIMAVERA P6 Professional Version 8.2.
In addition, I have extensive experience in the preparation / defence of Extension of Time and Prolongation Cost Claims, using Prospective and Retrospective / Forensic Delay Analysis Methods.
I have thorough knowledge of Time Impact & Windows Analysis and Society of Construction Law’s Delay & Disruption Protocol.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT in Current Project:-
· Successful Entitlement to an Extension of Time for a Period of 988 Calendar days;
· Prolongation Costs (P&G’s) Approved for a Period of 918 days;
· Limiting exposure to Concurrent Delays for Contractor Risk Events to 70 Calendar days.
