Through my career, I have gained a unique knowledge and strong business awareness in the full spectrum of the construction supply chain. This experience was sustained by commencing my career simultaneously to my undergraduate study, as well as boosting my experience through studying and obtaining Masters of Science in Construction Project Management from UK.
In 2011, I joined Dar Al-Handasah a leading international Consultant, as a Core Team Planning Engineer, responsible for the Planning, Monitoring and Control Functions for a group of Projects 3 roads & infrastructure Packages as well as 2 Villas (1650 Villas)Packages.
In2008, I joined Nakheel a leading developer in the Middle East, as Senior Project Controls Engineer, I was responsible for the planning and cost management functions within Palm Jebel Ali Development, International City Phase 1 and Jumeirah Islands Heights. I contributed in the development, construction and handing over of Nakheel developments through developing Strategic Master Schedules and monitoring the various contractors (Building, infrastructure, reclamation and utilities), Design Consultants and Project Management Consultants in terms of time and cost. Moreover I contributed to Nakheel restructuring plans and worked closely with Alex & Partner and Deloitte Consultants to restructure Nakheel Liabilities.
During the Course of my postgraduate study, I have gained an excellent understanding of the project management aspects from Contract Management, Strategic and operational Project Management, Financial Management, Procurement Management, Business Management, People and Organizational Management, Risk and Value Management and Quality Management. My Masters Dissertation was investigating the Links of Procurement Management and Macroeconomics during recessionary Market (investigating the use of the collaborative procurement routes as PPP, PFI, BOT..., etc and its impacts over the macro-economy).
In 2006,I joined Transemirates Contracting in UAE as Planning Engineer, I was responsible for the Planning activities in Al Attar Tower 60+ Stories tower and Al Bassam Tower 30+ Stories Tower, produced contract programmes, prepared monitoring reports, tender programmes and used Last Planner technique as well as utilizing BPR techniques for enhancing resources productivity.
In 2005,I Joined Arab Consulting Engineers (ACE) in Cairo as Civil Inspector/Technical Office Engineer worked on The Grand Egyptian Museum.
From 2000 – 2005,I was employed at Engineers for Integrated Construction in Cairo as part time site Engineer worked in development of 100 Villas project inside Al Rehab City in Cairo. In 2003 (When I was enrolled in the 5th Year progressing with undergraduate dissertation) I have been promoted to Site Engineer and worked in Saray Al Hadayeq Mall in Cairo.
