The situation at Exxon, when I entered the project, it was over budget, and late by one year. My role at Exxon was to take the original plan in MS Project and then produce a realistic achievable plan constructed so that Exxon and Yokogawa could use it to track and drive the project to an achievable conclusion, and produce reliable Deliverable dates, to hand of to the construction phase of the project.

Working on an integrated plan to produce 9 control System for the largest Gas to Liquids Plant in the world Using P3/P6,MSP and Excel (Contract Budget $200m)  This included reporting on a weekly/monthly basis Milestones Progress Shipping Resource on a suite of 20 Documents Devised and updated by myself which had a huge amount of  communication and co-ordination. In addition to this I also had responsibility for detailed plans to produce 3 of  the control systems which included the day to day updates and modifications to the plans plus detailed break down of critical activities (critical path analysis) to be able to drive the production of these systems from conception to completion in a managed EPC Environment.In addition I facilitated a weekly meeting with the management team to control the resources for the FAT in Newhouse, constantly reviewing and correcting the requirement.
