My profession is Civil Engineer with studies in the National Technical University of Athens and diploma thesis on the Construction of the Athens Underground Railway, under the Department of Construction Project Management.
My specialization is planning and progress control with particular emphasis on developing and establishing effective systems and tools for supporting the Project Management in order to achieve constant and reliable visibility into the project status, control cost and risk, optimize corrective actions, meet all contractual and commercial milestones, consolidate team members' coordination and analyze technical data for claims' preparation.
Since 1995 I have been working in several major and in comply with International Codes and Standards projects and I have been employed by leading international construction companies like J&P Overseas Ltd., HOCHTIEF A.G. and recently the international Construction Joint Venture “APION KLEOS” which has been established to execute the Elefsina – Korinthos – Patra – Pyrgos – Tsakona Motorway project.
My professional experience has introduced me to the most advanced project management methods and provided me with excellent knowledge of the Planning Software and skills in IT applications development, combined with practical experience in Planning and Project Control of Engineering – Procurement – Construction (EPC) contracts.
Furthermore my involvement in major and most complex projects from the infrastructure and the energy sector (Oil and Gas, Natural Gas, Industrial, Motorway, Railway, Airport) has provided me with experience in controlling multi discipline works and the ability to successfully comprehend and analyze all various kinds of projects.
Being able to communicate in English and co-operate closely with the Company staff through the whole Project organization / technical and managerial, as well with Client's, Authorities' and third parties' representatives in a multicultural international environment has been an asset since the beginning of my career.
