Claims Experience.

  • Prepared a delay analysis from a bundle of documents for an M&E sub-contract delays, to show entitlement of an EOT to the main contractor.
  • Prepared a delay analysis for “With out Prejudice” negotiations against design consultants  to show how late & incomplete information form the designers delayed the fitting out of the works. Prepared a neutral evaluation report of client’s position regarding the impact of design delays on their contract.
  • Prepared an EOT submission & delay analysis from a bundle of documents on the £0.5m M&E sub-contract to show entitlement of an EOT to the main contractor. Identified 149 delay event & demonstrated the effect on the design & contract programme with 7No. monthly time slices. Document used to negotiate a settlement to the extension of time claim.
  • Prepared an EOT submission & delay analysis from a bundle of documents identifying 19 delay events impacting on the design of a steel frame.
  • Prepared a five volume EOT submission & delay analysis from a bundle of documents on the £10m M&E sub-contract to show entitlement of an EOT to the main contractor. Identified 290 delay event & demonstrated the effect on the design & contract programme with 24No. monthly time slices. Document used to negotiate a settlement to the extension of time claim.
  • Prepared a ‘Neutral Evaluation’ delay analysis on a steel frame to prove EOT entitlement to the main contractor. Identified 33 delay events & showed cause & effect on the design & and 23 week contract programme.
  • Advising an Architect on behalf of the Employer on a contractors EOT claim submission for an office fit out & refurbishment project in Londonregarding the correct EOT to award the contractor. Preparing full delay analysis using “Time Impact Analysis” over ten time slices & reviewing 302 delay events identified by the contractor.
  • Prepared for a sub-contractor an EOT submission & delay analysis of 72 delay events impacting on a structural steel frame of a new build office project in London, to prove entitlement to an EOT to the main contractor
  • Appointed as Planning Expert to review a Response to Adjudication regarding the programming aspect of an EOT on a £2m commercial project in Glasgow. 
  • Preparing 400 activity completion programme for a £2m development of 18 flats, including coding of activities for trade, blocks & flat number to enable filtering of programme activities.
  • Acting as planning expert on an extension of time adjudication on a £12m commercial office & accommodation development, London. Preparing expert report, liaising with lawyers & attending hearing. Giving opinioned evidence at hearing.
  • Identifying compensation events on a live project under (NEC 95 option C contract) on Wales National Pool, Swansea (Value £10m) Showing cause & effect of 23 delay events on programme.
  • Expert Witness (Programming) -Appointed as planning/programming expert for opinion on various fitting out progammes, for a rent review dispute London.
  • Part of a team of planners analysing a design & build contractor’s delay on a £250m Ministry of Defence office project using Primavera planning software. Preparation of as built design & construction programmes, time slicing & projecting activity progress to ascertain extension of time entitlement.
  • One of a team of five planners working on a Retrospective Delay Analysis for the client of a £130m hospital extension. Duties included, research & analysis of delays under NHS & RIBA design & procurement methods, utilising Powerproject software. Pagination & collation of research data in clients, consultants & contractors offices. Production of reports on findings.
