Holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering blended with 13 years of extensive international professional experience (construction management & planning) and my professional affiliation with my current employer i.e. the consortium of Khansaheb Civil Engineering (UAE) & Interserve Group PLC (UK), a well-known EPC company in UAE, has in turn honed my abilities to fulfill requisite core competencies in the field of project management, planning / scheduling, monitoring and its adherent fields.
As Lead Planning Engineer, I am responsible for developing and monitoring of integrated Clause 14/8.3 Programmes, resource (cost, manpower, equipment & staff) planning / loading, cash flows, recovery programmes, developing of KPIs, sub-contractor’s programme review / approval, provide guidance and expert advice to PM/CM on planning issues, creating professional analytical reports / presentations like (productivity & Progress), deals with any other duties that may be assigned by the PM/CM, coordinate with other sub-contractors regarding schedule / procurement discrepancies, reports overall schedule, performance reports to CM/PM, attend client / Engineer’s progress meetings and develop EOT/ delay programmes / analysis reports in case of any slippage.
Besides my specific job role, trusting on capabilities and commitment, my current employer has assigned me additional responsibility for Tender Programmes.
My core competencies and skills include: excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to develop, review and ensure consistent implementation of Clause 14 Programme. Well aware of international construction practices with particular focus on planning, scheduling, monitoring, communication and delay analysis. I have excellent organization, interpersonal and time-management skills. I am a meticulous planner and self-initiator. I have a mixed blend experience of execution construction planning/monitoring based on being with the major contractors and project management being a part of consultancy team.
I believe my academic background; experience (this included extensive work on spreadsheets of MS Office, MS Project Planning and Primavera P3.1 and P6 v8.2) will help me to be an asset to your organization in a very short span of time.
