Dear Recruiter,
RE: APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PLANNING ENGINEER
As can be seen in my CV, I have 20 years of building and construction experience working as a consultant as well as contractor. I have been in various industries including nuclear decommissioning at Hinkley Point ‘A’. I worked for two UK based companies, namely British Nuclear Group and Mitsui Babcock over a period of two years at Hinkley Point ‘A’.
I believe that I have transferable skills and will be able to carry out the duties and responsibilities for the role being offered. I can adapt well in situations and especially change as I have worked in 4 different continents.
I have attached a personal statement to my CV which will further elaborate my duties and responsibilities that can match the requirements for the job offered. However, the role that I focused upon is at corporate level and being the head of the programme management office. Nonetheless, I have the intrinsic skills and knowledge to conduct myself in any given role within the project management domain including project planning.
I would be grateful if I am given the opportunity for an interview where I can present myself and elaborate further how your organisation can benefit from my skills and knowledge.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
S. Palaram
