I am a full Member of the Association of Project Manager (MAPM) and follow governance models and approaches identified within Prince2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Agile and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), alongside more traditional waterfall and critical path methodologies
My focus for a number of years has been delivery management and transformation specialising in planning assurance, management and training predominantly within the Infrastructure sector and more recently applied my skills across Information Technology, Telecommunication's, and Information systems.
I appreciate the need for strong consistent communications to not only strengthen stakeholder engagement but also help manage associated interdependencies and risks.
I have international delivery and brand experience and have worked on both strategic and tactical delivery programmes. As part of a best practice assurance team I have carried out Forensic audits , claims analysis and contract plan approvals alongside programme health checks, short recovery programmes and establishment of programme management offices (PMO). Allowing clients to consistently report and re-establish confidence by confirming scope and deliverables. Also having worked at the coal face I have experienced and overcome the hardships of site and remote based working understanding the issues with this type of living and the strains that impact can delivery
Although I have achieved a senior level I believe it all starts with a plan so I am very hands on still utilising software products like Primavera P6 , Microsoft Project, Open Plan I am able to travel and willing to work nationally
