A brief about my work history, I started my career in construction as a ‘civil engineer’ after passing out in 1988, doing about 21 buildings projects from excavation to finishes and handover to clients for a period of 3.5 years in India.
In 1991, I moved to Saudi Arabia worked as a ‘project engineer’ for a sea villa project in Jeddah with DITCO for 1.5 years and switched over to Al Amoudi United Co. as an ‘estimation & planning engineer’, for 3 years I was doing commercial & technical tender packages and also post tender responsibilities such as variations and project schedules as well. Then I moved to Riyadh to join A.S. Bugshan & Brothers Company to take up exclusive planning assignment as ‘planning & scheduling engineer’ for 4 years. I joined Al Rashid Contracting Co. as a ‘senior planning engineer’ and soon became ‘head of planning unit’ and worked for 6 years.
In view of construction boom in UAE, I got an opportunity to work on high rise Towers as a ‘planning manager’ for ACC on ‘sky & sun tower project-Abudhabi from inception to completion with Hill International as PMC. I was posted to handle ‘masdar city project’ to work with Turner (PMC). Now working on ‘sky view project’ located at down town area in Dubai.
