Introducing myself I would elaborate on my work philosophy as a result of my multifaceted, vast experience and exposure in construction mega projects, commenting that:

I admit that I have been working hard and long hours for most part of my carrier, but eventually I learned something equally important; "Work less & Achieve More” meaning thatI believe in the synergies of achieving efficiencies with focus on effectiveness rather than mere efficiency.

Inevitably for an added value, such focus on effectiveness shall be aligned with a well-articulated organisational vision and strategy.

From a more technical / project specific perspective I learned that we should always review Programmes / Project status from a “Health Checks” holistic perspective rather than “Audit” perspective focus on long term execution effectiveness while meeting compliance.

Lead a team of project control professionals;

Develop as required project control strategies, plans and procedures to achieve a holistic and integrated project control system during all phases of the project;

Ensure establishment of all required project controls systems, guide their set up and integration through common coding and structures;

Responsible for all management reporting and producing deviation reports and corrective action recommendations;

Provide guidance / support in the development and maintenance of all primary project control documents, including; Contracts log, Change Order Register, Trend Register, Cost Report, Project Master Schedule and Risk Register;

To oversee commercial aspects;

Provide guidance / support the assessment, negotiation and recommended settlement of all significant change orders and amendments in conjunction with other discipline Heads.

Provide support to Finance Directorate to ensure timely processing and execution of all accounting and finance related activities for the project, with special attention to budget, funding and invoice payments;

Contribute to the development and implementation of project HSE and QA/QC processes/procedures and activities in close coordination with the HSE and QA/QC project management team;

Oversee project resource deployment and recruitment activities and support HR & OS Departments;
