I am a Civil Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Project Management.
I hold a BSc. degree in Civil Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, Pakistan (2002) and an MSc degree in Transportation Engineering from the same University (2008).
For the last 6 years I have been working as a Project Management Consultant to Construction Contractors in Pakistanin the field of Project Management. I have prepared the Project Master Plans including Master Schedules of more than 24 mega projects comprising cost of US $ 707 M. They include 651 kms of Highways and Motorways, 2 large Bridges of 1000 m length each, 68 small bridges having span greater than 50 m and an Airport of Category F. I have prepared the Extension of Time claims and other cost claims for 18 projects.
I have provided Project Management Services on 5 projects funded by World Bank and 3 project funded by Asian Development Bank. I have provided Project Planning Consultancy services to four expatriate companies working in Pakistanincluding SAMBU International (Korea), Put Sarajevo (Bosnia), SMEC international (Australia) and STFA (Turkey). I have hands on experience on Planning Software Primavera and Open Plan for Scheduling.
Currently I have been acting as counsel for Contractors on 22 claims in arbitration with National HighwayAuthorityPakistan. I have been elected as Member Dispute Board on two Highway Projects by the Employer National HighwayAuthorityPakistan.
Prior to that, I have acted as Planning Manager for 3 years on Islamabad Peshawar Motorway (M-1) Project with Pakistan Motorways Contractor Joint Venture.
