• Importing P3e schedules from Microsoft Project data, and carrying out data checks.

Worked as a member of the Primavera Business Support Team at British Energy. I provided Planning support and advice for all areas of the Existing Nuclear section of EDF Energy (British Energy), primarily focusing on the Outage Division. The existing configuration of the Outage Database has been reviewed, and i have recently completed an Outage Database Configuration document, as well as a Project Specific Document for Site Leads and Site Planners to use to aid with Standardisation of planning at sites.

* Most recently employed in QA Department, investigating previously-incorporated modifications to Station operational plant and equipment in order to identify queried item origins. Results provide an accurate database for future spares provisioning during lifetime of the country’s first PWR. Involved routine daily contact with in-house personnel, outside contractors, suppliers and manufacturers, U.K. and world-wide.

• Creation and maintenance of detailed schedules for Project Team (12000+ activities in P5)
• Carrying out delay analysis on CO2 Plant Projects, looking at reasoning on movements within CO2 schedules impacting the PICA Programme
• Exporting P5 files in .Xer format to Pertmaster for risk analysis
• Analysing justifications for Change Control from internal resources and external contractors
• Carrying out regular station visits to engage with project team members and to improve progress updates

Based at Sizewell ’B’ nuclear power station working as part of the station refuelling outage management group, this role involved developing resource plans for the FMA contract refuelling outage work scope, allocating resources and disciplines, specifying quantities, developing histograms, reviewing plan logic and resolving issues arising from work scope reviews. These areas were all developed using the Artemis 9000 planning software.

Following the successful period as a contract partner outage planner, I joined the station outage planning team and took on the role of Refuelling & Radwaste project planner, replacing an experienced senior planner who had planned the refuelling scope for the previous nine outages. The role involves planning (using Primavera P6 software) throughout an 18 month cycle, culminating with the high intensity refuelling outage period.
