The Guild is a natural "next step" progression from the website Planning Planet and carries with it the very same ethic and objective - providing YOU, the individual, with competitive advantage in a competitive environment.

How does joining your Guild help YOU gain competitive advantage?
The mainstay of The Guild is comprised of: The Role Descriptors and Standards of Practice and the necessary processes which tie the two together. These documents describe in detail job-roles, knowledge and experience that should be gained for each given level from beginner (Foundation or Yellow Belt to Fellow (black belt) and three levels of competence in between: Proficient (green belt) Advanced (orange belt) and Expert (red belt).

Your Guild therefore gives you the individual a CAREER PATH which has been developed by the most learned in the industry.
Your Guild enables you to be tested and subsequently ASSESSED FOR COMPETENCY at whichever level you have chosen and qualify for.
YOUR GUILD enables you to ADD to your skills be they in Planning and Scheduling, Cost Management or Forensic Analysis - requirements are clearly set out for applicants to add to their skills portfolio with extra reading and FREE access to expert papers through THE GUILD LIBRARY.

JOIN AS A CERTIFIED MEMBER TO ENJOY THE ABOVE.
However, you may wish to join at a given level and TEST YOURSELF LATER: for this you will become a TESTIFIED Member at the level corroborated as appropriate by your References - you will not though be ASSESSED as being COMPETENT until you have taken and passed a test and undergone reviews of your work output.
As a TESTIFIED member you do not have access to the Knowledge library as you have not contributed to it.
BOTH LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP ARE THE SAME PRICE AND YOU CAN UPGRADE TO CERTIFIED MEMBER FREE OF CHARGE BY REGISTERING TO BE TESTED... YOU REMAIN A TESTIFIED MEMBER UNTIL YOU PASS YOUR RESPECTIVE TEST but you will gain access to the KNOWLEDGE LIBRARY.
Being a TESTIFIED MEMBER enables the individual to cross over into the relevant Competency Based Certification at a time and pace to suit you or your workload constraints.
There will be a Guild Page dedicated to you and password-protected demonstrating your prowess. You may use this page as you like... evidence of competence or the ultimate cv for example...
YOU STAND OUT TO OTHERS BY YOUR PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE IN YOUR ROLE - clearly visible to peers and employers alike.

Your Guild is set up explicitly for YOU the individual to have your say in how the organisation is run and managed.
Either through a Region or directly with Guild Admin - channels of communication are established for ease of use.

It is not imperative to be a Guild Member to sit the tests - membership does of course offer discounts and the Guild trusts the reasons for membership are clear and compelling. AS THE GUILD GROWS so will the BENEFITS OF JOINING.
