Planning Planet will now reward all of you who have supported us by ensuring for its’ first year in existence The Guild will open its doors to all of you who complete the entry form and supply us with the information requested - it could not be easier – we will be issuing online certificates of Guild Membership which will be attached to your specific profile in the Guild pages. Membership in the first year will be £100.00 irrespective of level and you have a year to earn The Guild level you request. We also wish to build a Knowledge Base which will be contributed to by Guild members and to kick this off Chris Carson has added the first document (this version has been made public rather than being for Guild members only)...

Description: This study looks at a variety of capital process industry project schedules, focusing on the practices used during schedule development with four measures; cost performance and schedule performance related to industry benchmarks, cost growth over baseline budget, schedule slip over baseline schedule. The data analysis identified four project schedule characteristics that correlated with “positive and significant project outcome metrics”; integration of all phases into a single schedule, application of CPM, resource loading of the schedule, and detailed review of the schedule by the project team.
