Dear Members, We are excited to send this message to you the content of which we feel marks a turning point for Planning Planet and your Guild of Project Controls. Forming a Guild and writing Standards for global consumption and approval was never going to be a small task and as in the old adage "If it was easy lots would have done the same thing" (or similar) couldn't be closer to the point and things have taken longer than anticipated: utilising an industry leading group of volunteers who have so much pressure on their free time meant timescales slipped and rectifying the situation was difficult... We thank you all - contributors in whatever manner or those who have sent messages in support. Planning Planet will be launching a Guild Discussion Forum on the site in the next few days and crucially our Chief Editor in the Standards of Practice, Chris Carson will be publishing a weekly update for you all straight from his desk and there will be more and more updates, examining body, competency levels etc, etc. So much to do!! PP wishes to hear you thoughts both positive (and hopefully not) negative so we can deliver to you The Guild you all want and deserve. Log on to the forum and participate... we are a few months away... |
