We at Planning Planet (PP) thank YOU for your continued support that has motivated us through both difficult and good times!
HOWEVER...
2013 IS GOING TO BE THE BIGGEST YEAR IN THE HISTORY OF PP……WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT MORE THAN EVER
Here are just a few defined objectives for this year……
The Guild... will be opened and running... a global examining body is pending... benefits... Officers... subscription... committees... messages from Guild Officers on PP... interaction through PP.
After consultation with the Guild leaders, it is evident that we need to make more of an effort to communicate the good works and progress they have been making; there's loads going on, and more importantly, lots that has been put in place.
Standards of Practice... are complete in Planning and Scheduling with full completion before May!
We are very aware that you have all been very patient with The Guild. Based on knowledge as The Guild is, from volunteers giving up their free time for the benefit of all, timescales are always stretched! Our strength is access to the PP community through the PP site and we will never lose sight of this…
We will also introduce standards for software users... many of you have written to us complementing our choices of vendors on PP: we are working on an even better way to portray the software / service-providing vendors and we shall be increasing their numbers! The volunteers who have come forward asking to help liaise with software companies to create such standards has been overwhelming, but if you do wish to be involved, do get in touch.
Many of you write in with good information about training companies and consultancies – we will be forming new pages on PP to help you meet-up the very best!
Global regions…The USA, Africa, Europe, Middle East and Far East are the regions we will concentrate on – as a Guild and as PP. If you wish to be involved please get in touch… we have a great team in place but we want to establish more Guild Officers for each region.
ABOVE ALL THOUGH IS THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
Whichever discipline from Project Controls you specialise in: evidence can be given of expertise from both an employee and employer perspective no more wasted time and effort for either party in the recruitment and operations process. Finally, a career path recognised by the global corporate community enabling more kudos for your roles and allowing others to also attain better skill levels – we can all improve!
