Dear Friends,

Due to the growth in interest in Building Information Modelling and the Guild of Project Controls’ professional standards, we are facilitating an ideas-workshop in Central London.  It is free to attend and will be lead by David Philp who is the Head of BIM Implementation for the Cabinet Office, Balfour Beatty's Director of Technical Services and BIM Programme Director.

Agenda Items:

  • A what does BIM mean in terms of planning and project controls?
  • What does the 4D workflow really look like?
  • The need for a common planning data language.
  • Integrated planning, mission rooms and beyond.
  • What good work has already been done in this space?
  • What guidance and protocols do we need to produce?
