GUILD OF PROJECT CONTROLS PHASE 2 LAUNCH UPDATE |

Planning Planet has again been asked to sponsor a zone at Project Challenge in London, England; an event that we feel caters well for the needs of the community in its current format. We will run a comprehensive timetable which includes industry leaders, educational Guild and Trade Partner speakers all with the aim being to inform the delegate from a number of different perspectives: major project insight from senior management, a selection of Guild Standards of Practice available for a wider-peer review and we will be using this as the vehicle for the Guild's Phase 2 Launch Milestone. |

In addition to the above, our zone presentations will terminate with a Guild Question-and-Answer session to a panel of current Guild Officers. We think you’ll be impressed by how far we have come and we need your support and contribution to finally clarify the roles within Project Controls and introduce worthwhile standards that help us all! In your thousands you have supported this initiative. If you are in the United Kingdom please come and be involved (Register Here), if you are not, then we apologise for the geographical constraints. We will ensure that the proceedings are recorded and made available online to celebrate this second Phase Milestone. Some of our speakers will be from organisations such as Crossrail: hear about Europe’s largest capital project from a senior management perspective; Atkins Global, Parsons Brinkerhoff and Mott Macdonald will also be present to entertain and pass on tips which contribute to their on-going success despite the current overall gloom. Guild Officers including the global presenting phenomenon that is Chris Carson, will be able to talk delegates through the mire that has been Project Controls for as long as we have all been involved: hear his teams solutions and thoughts – do you agree? Will you work with us? PP is confident that we will host another ground breaking event; Corporate Guild sponsors will also be present – why did they become involved? How do they hope to benefit?
