Project Controls Manager

HS2 is an unparalleled feat of modern engineering and the largest infrastructure project in Europe. For an experienced Project Controls professional like you, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invigorate the nation’s connectivity, capacity and economy – on a scale not seen in the UK since the Second World War.

Time, cost and quality

Fundamentally, you’ll help evaluate project time, cost and quality targets for a specific area of the Programme, and maintain the communication and monitoring of project governance controls that will contribute to the successful delivery of the project.

Early supply chain engagement

This is a very varied role. You’ll help establish Contractor Requirements through early supply chain engagement and conduct monthly business reporting.

Mitigating risk

You’ll also work closely with the Head of Project Controls to improve and sustain operating policies that mitigate risk throughout, and take a lead in monitoring risk policy adherence. In addition, your specialist advice and technical knowledge will be vital in allowing us to respond to any delays or issues.

Complex infrastructure and construction

We’re looking for a qualified project manager with a strong track record on large-scale and complex infrastructure or construction projects, high-quality communication skills and proven ability to lead teams and engage stakeholders.
