Our client is searching for an experienced intermediate Civils Project Planner /Planning Engineer whom want to take the next step in their career within the world of planning working for a global giant in contracting construction.
The successful planning engineer’s / project planners will have a background in Civil Engineering which is required to join this project based on site in West Sussex.
A big plus will be previous experience of major civil and RC works, substructures, superstructure & basement projects.
Job Description:
·Developing and maintaining well-engineered and fully resourced programmes for Concrete sub and superstructure, Cladding, Fit Out & Concrete basement works
·Works requirements and value engineering solutions.
·Major quantities and assess errors/discrepancies.
·Present programme philosophy and strategy advantages internally and externally.
·Leading the planning and control functions on projects.
·Establishing and implementing robust project controls and accurate reporting and forecasting.
Key Experience
·Professional Qualifications: HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
·On site Project experience.
·Good understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications along with understanding of risk and opportunity management.
·Gained experience of developing relationships with client representatives.
·Have a developing knowledge of strategic planning and project / programme management systems.
·Planning and resourcing experience using Asta Powerproject.
·Self motivation, resource management, staff development and coaching.
