Senior Delay Analyst – Hong Kong based

To support its growing client base, Systech’s teams of claims and dispute management consultants operate from over 28 offices worldwide, where they are assigned to some of the largest, most complex and challenging projects in the world.
Systech is currently appointed on projects around the APAC region, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Korea and India working mainly in the rail, civils, power, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. Our assignments range from short-term claim reviews to carrying out detailed forensic analysis to establish cause and effect of events, advising and supporting contractors in mediation negotiations as well as more lengthy and involved dispute processes.
To grow and develop this highly successful business Systech is seeking experienced and talented Senior Delay Analysts who can demonstrate an excellent track record in preparing and writing claims for contractors, to work full-time and become part of the dispute management team.
Candidate Requirements:
· Have a strong interest in working internationally in the dispute field for a British company in the APAC region from a base in Hong Kong.
· Be flexible to work in a variety of APAC locations and countries. Systech may also consider candidates who are prepared to work on a rotation basis (typically 6 weeks on and 1 week off or 11 weeks on and 2 weeks off).
· UK passport holders preferred (preferable for foreign worker visa requirements) Other nationalities will be considered (visa restrictions may apply in some locations).
· Have RICS or CIOB membership status or have a post-graduate legal qualification with at least 15 years in construction or engineering and having prior experience as a Delay Analyst/Claims Planner.
· Be able to demonstrate a successful career to date in claims and dispute related work including various methods of forensic delay analysis.
· Fluency in a second language is advantageous.
