Senior Planner - Railway Project - Cambridgeshire
The Company:
A major design and build contractor, our client is successful and growing company with strong order books and expansion plans. They are one of the UK's leading construction and engineering companies, providing specialist civil engineering and building skills to a range of market sectors.
The Opportunity:
Your role as Senior Planner will be to support project delivery by providing accurate and up-to-date programmes from tender stage through to project delivery and handover. You will be liasing closely with engineers and stakeholders within and also outside the company, enabling the programme to to be a genuine tool to control project performance and reporting. One of your main intial projects will be to work on a new railway station in the Cambridgeshire region.
You will need:
- Current UK rail sector experience (stations, civils, p-way, electrification or S&T will all be considered)
- Primavera P6 experience
Our client is looking for someone with true engineering understanding and ability - software skills by themselves are not enough. You must be able to understand and interrogate the way projects are put together 'on the ground'.
Reward:
£50k - £65k basic (according to experience) + car allowance + pension + corporate benefits package.
