Joining our Customer Programmes team, you will have the scope to plan and deliver projects, monitor their overall progress, resolve any issues and use your formal PM skills to the benefit of each project. We’ll also rely on you to build and develop business cases for new projects, develop, manage and maintain accurate risk and issue logs and make sure change control is managed tightly.
Providing your team with coaching on standardised corporate project management tools and techniques will be important too, in a vital role that will see you work extensively with a wide range of stakeholders.
To rise to the challenge, you’ll need impressive stakeholder management experience gained managing multiple concurrent projects. Ideally accredited with Prince2/APMP or equivalent professional project management credentials, you’ll certainly need to be familiar with different project methodologies, such as agile and lean. We’ll also be looking for the ability to create a ‘one team’ approach across cross-functional and disparate project teams. Well organised, highly motivated and ‘management independent’, your flair for influencing others and effortlessly managing complex and unique issues will be key to your success. In short, your project management skills and engaging personality will see you thrive.
