Overview:

  • M&E Planning Engineer required for a national Building Services Contractor's Manchester office.
  • Working experiences of either "Asta" or "Primavera" planning software.
  • Background in either Main Contracting or M&E Building Services desirable.
  • Multi sector & Major Projects experience advantageous.
  • Highly Competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with the integrated project team
  • Report to the Operation Manager and be responsible for the M&E/Building Services planning element of the team
  • Develop a fully integrated M&E programme that leads to a successful handover of the project
  • Development of the integrated M&E programme, informed by handover, commissioning, installation, procurement and design
  • Identify key M&E interfaces on interface schedules to assist the project team
  • Identify key M&E dependencies on dependency schedules to assist the project team
  • Identify key M&E milestones, and develop milestone delivery sheets
  • Ensure that the programme is fully integrated with the main construction programme
  • Asta Power Projects and/or P6 (Primervera) software
  • Produce monthly progress reports
  • Carry out regular baseline programme reviews
  • Carry out regular critical path analysis reviews
  • Monitor cause and effect relationships throughout the programme
  • Integrate M&E suppliers programmes and monitor progress monthly
  • Manage M&E planning team, including performance management via one to ones process, and professional development via appraisal process
