Leading a team of planners, you will be instrumental to the success of signalling projects. Your work will underpin the safe and efficient transport of passengers and freight. You’ll help us build a better railway for a better Britain.

Joining our forward-thinking, driven Infrastructure Projects team, you’ll play a key role working across a range of fascinating, high profile signalling projects. We will look to you to lead the planning function within a project team, ensuring quality and consistency in all planning and reporting activities. It’s sure to be an unrivalled experience. Inspiring excellent performance across multiple projects while honing a strong strategic view and maintaining key interdependencies, you will enjoy significant scope to enhance your knowledge and skills. As you develop and progress high quality project plans, communication will be key to your success - from making sure all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities, to providing expert advice and guidance.

We’ll expect you to be a team player with a flair for clear, engaging and persuasive communication at all levels. You’ll demonstrate proven experience as a P3/P6 planner with good IT skills and project resource management expertise. Specific, successful experience in managing, planning and delivering signalling projects is essential. Ideally, you’ll have UK rail industry experience.
