The Company:
Awell-known engineering company, a company which is UK-wide (and internationally) across a range of rail infrastructure sectors and projects.
The position:
Planning Manager for a major rail programme, taking control of all Primavera scheduling control and output for the team. Managing a team of planners to produce accurate and up-to-date plans to drive the project forward.
You will need:
- have a background in UK main contracting, consultancy or client-side environments for the rail engineering sector;
- be able to demonstrate experience of projects in excess of £20m;
- possess a strong background in project planning – not just driving the software, but also having a real understanding of actual construction techniques and sequences;
- have knowledge of EVA techniques and reporting;
- be able to use Primavera P6.
Managerial:
- demonstrable experience in supporting and mentoring junior staff;
- business-minded, commercially aware approach to work, appreciating that the Planning Function is only one part of delivering a successful programme.
Remuneration:£60k - £70k + car + package
