Our client is working on a prestigious Rail project based in central London & they require you to work as part of the project team to support the Head of Project Controls and the Lead Planning Manager in creating, intergrating and analysing detailed construction programmes that reflect the design of the programme scope.
The Construction Planner shall be responsible for: Working with the Design consultants to ddevelop detailed Project Schedules for the construction phases of the programme scope, managing the update process of the construction programmes Integrating the detailed construction programmes into a single, programme wide construction programme, assisting the Lead Planner to integrate the programme wide construction programme to the development, engineering and procurement programmes, to produce a high level programme wide programme. Providing schedule input to development of the Project baseline and monitoring programme delivery performance against that baseline. Ensuring that all baseline schedules are complete and reconciled to; estimates, scope documents; risk register; assumption and exclusion register and activity coding and the organisational work breakdown structure and work breakdown structure Preparing and maintaining accurate and underpinned progress and cost reports and forecast Assessing impact of changes against project baseline Supporting the change control process and ensuring that all schedule and cost reports are fully updated with contractually approved change control Liaising with other Project Control and DP teams to ensure that information is captured and any deviations and/or schedule delivery risks are accessed and communicated Liaising with 3rd Party organisations (eg Network Rail) that interface with / contribute to the clients schedule of works& Facilitating the timely and regular transfer of accurate and coherent schedule information across the programme]
Day rates will be upwards of £450 per day, however, interview slots are immediate for the right person
