Planning Engineer, Construction
A leading main contractor has a need to bolster their planning capabilities as a result of their business recent success in acquiring a number of contracts in the Northern Home Counties. The Planning Engineer will take responsibility of circa 4 to 5 live contracts and play a key role in their successful delivery.
The live projects are a part of a framework that is providing the company with a solid workload for the foreseeable future. The projects are a combination of new build and refurbishment projects in the area and so the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate site based experience on similar projects and be comfortable in being left to their own devices though some support will be provided.
Candidate
· Good understanding of construction techniques
· Previous site based planning experience is essential
· Proficient user of Asta Powerproject
· Strong communication skills
· Main contractor background
· Hold a clean UK driving license
On offer is an attractive salary of between £40,000 to £55,000 plus a competitive benefits package that includes a company car or a car allowance, pension, private healthcare, life assurance, flexible benefits scheme and education support.
