Assistant / Planning Engineer - £120m London Project
This has to be one of the best opportunities I have come across for an aspiring Planner to join a leading brand in the construction industry and to gain valuable exposure of a large and complex project based in central London. The Planning Engineer will work closely alongside the Planning Manager and provide him with planning support and assisting them with the projects delivery.
The project is valued at circa £120m and it is a mixed use development comprising of commercial, high end residential and retail space. The Planners responsibilities will include updating programmes, producing programme reports, liaising with sub- contractors and design consultancies, attending site meetings and other general duties.
This opportunity would suit someone that has experience as a Site Manager or a similar position who is keen to progress their career into planning or an individual with a couple of years planning experience that wants to gain further valuable experience.
Candidate
· Construction degree or equivalent
· Site based experience is essential
· Some knowledge of planning and it’s principles
· Planning software experience is desirable but training is on offer to the right candidate
· Ambitious individual that is eager to learn
· Strong communication skills
· Team player
