Senior Planning Engineer - £65m London Project
A world class construction organisation is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Planning Engineer to join their increasingly busy London operations. The company is well known and highly regarded name in the construction industry both in the UK and overseas. Their UK operations are experiencing a considerable increase in activity with a number of project wins and so they are in need of boosting their planning capabilities in London.
The Senior Planning Engineer will initially be responsible for all the planning on a £65m project in central London. They will be in charge of an Assistant Planner and for managing the planning on this project which covers build and refurbishment of three separate buildings.
In London they are currently carrying out the delivery of a number of large projects and with their HQ being central London based the Senior Planner will either move on to another one of their projects or join their tender team.
Candidate
· Degree in construction or equivalent
· Minimum 8 years planning experience with a tier one main contractor
· Previous site experience is essential preferably on projects valued £15m plus
· Strong communication skills
· Stable career history
· Strong understanding of planning software packages
· Ability to build a programme from scratch
