Assistant Planning Engineer – Newcastle / Aberdeen
Assistant Planning Engineer is currently required by a leading main contractor to be based on sites in and around Newcastle and also Aberdeen. They are an organisation that are highly regarded and that have a reputation for delivering innovative construction solutions to their clients.
Their need to appoint an Assistant Planning Engineer is a direct result of recently winning a number of projects which they need to increase their planning capability on. The Assistant Planning Engineer will be responsible for providing support to the other Senior Planners in the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Planning Engineer to steer their career in the right direction by gaining exposure to some exciting projects, working alongside other senior planners and also being a part of a leading name in the UK construction industry.
Candidate
· Minimum of 2 years planning experience.
· Construction degree or equivalent.
· Site based experience, preferably gained as a Site Manager prior to moving into planning.
· Strong communication skills
· Knowledge of planning software packages.
