My client is looking to recruit a Senior Scheduler for the management, preparation and delivery of project network schedules for the purpose of project tendering/handover and live project execution, monitoring and control.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Working closely with the Project Director/Manager develop and maintain time and resource network schedules for the clients projects, specifically those associated with the Assembly of the QEC ships.
  2. Coordinate the efforts of the assembly schedulers and operational planners to meet the requirements of the Project, the Project Support Manager and the Project Managers
  3. For QEC, coordinate the efforts of the assembly schedulers and operational planners to ensure focus transition from Damage Control Zones to Whole ship and systems completion 
  4. Ensure that the clients objectives and strategies are fully understood and articulated within the network schedules.
  5. Assist in the development of processes for EVM reporting. Routinely update the network schedule in line with reporting requirements.
  6. Routinely produce and evaluate management information from project network schedule for the clients management.
  7. Assist in the maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure, Organisational Breakdown Structure and Responsibilities Breakdown Structure for the clients scopes of work.
  8. Produce overall project resource labour loading curves.
  9. Liaise with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement and Engineering teams to ensure all planning interfaces and dependencies are fully captured in the network schedule.
  10. Produce and maintain cardinal date plan, critical path analysis and key event plan.
  11. Assist with quantitative schedule risk analysis.
  12. Management and Development of the assigned staff.

Qualficiations/Experience

  • The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of network scheduling. With a detailed understanding of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • A working knowledge of IFS is desirable. Training can be given.
  • Preferred HND qualification or equivalent in management/project management.
