The client is a top tier contractor and have established a solid base in Hong Kong where they have delivered some of Hong Kong's largest construction and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join their growing Railway Infrastructure Planning team.
Due to the ongoing nature of a Railway infrastructure project in Hong Kong they are looking for a Planning Engineers at all levels with previous Metro / Infrastructure / Railway expertise with top tier contractors to support the project planning requirements for this project.
You will help to create and develop a detailed planning program for construction. You will monitor and focus on the physical progress and cost reports. You will plan and monitor project schedules, maintain the project baseline, identify the critical path and activities for the project schedule and update the actual situation of the project whilst preparing internal and external status reports. You will also schedule coordination with internal and external parties.
You will be from a Civil / Structural Engineering Planning background within the Railway / Infrastructure / Metro / Drainage sector. You will have an in depth understanding and user knowledge of Primavera 6 software (P6). You will have gained at least 5 years experience as a Planning Engineer ideally in a large scale Railway or associated civil infrastructure projects. You will also have excellent Microsoft Office and Power Point skills. You will have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. You will have strong presentation skills. You will have a strong personality in order to interact with different sections of the project. Those candidates with previous Hong Kong experience will be preferred, Cantonese language skills are an added advantage but not essential.
