SUMMARY
TYLI’s Oregon Operations is seeking a P6 scheduler. This individual will develop, review and analyze baseline schedules, update monthly progress schedules, make recommendations to mitigate delays, and complete project status reports. The position will also evaluate change orders and delays related to time impacts, lead scheduling meeting sand field oversight staff, and discuss / negotiate scheduling issues. Other responsibilities may include: Cash Flow Forecasting, Integrated Master Schedule Development,C ritical Path Management and Reporting, Resource & Cost Loading Schedules, Look Ahead Schedules, and Monthly Status Reports.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop detailed project schedules from project scopes and budgets.
- Utilize scheduling software to combine multiple sub-schedules into a single master schedule
- Provided various reports to CM and Stakeholders using P6 reporting tools including earned value and project controls layouts
- Develop Resource Libraries
- Resource-load schedules with available equipment/labor/materials
- Measure physical progress in the field against planned progress
- Support the regional schedulers in planning coordinating and managing all schedules and control activities on projects/programs assigned using Primavera Enterprise, version 6.0 and higher.
- Interface with various internal and external stakeholders on planning and scheduling.
- Coordinate and report regional project/program performance to the PMO and project team.
- Represent client in meetings with project stakeholders s required regarding project performance related to schedule and controls
- Develop and implement scheduling guidelines based on client requirements and Company policies.
- Support Client scheduling requirements as necessary
- Perform additional assignments as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred four(4) year BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field. Primavera Enterprise P6 experience required including construction resource loading experience. Requires minimum five (5) years ofexperience in scheduling construction / infrastructure projects. Construction experience desirable - understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards, and their impact on projects. Strong computer skills, including MS Office excel and word (MS Project a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with internal and external project stakeholders. Knowledge and experience intransportation and / or vertical construction scheduling and project managementis desirable. Bridge and Rail experience a plus. Formal project management course work is desirable. Must thoroughly understand the scope of project through design and construction phases and understand project plans and specifications. Must analyze drawings and other documentation to assist in preparation of quantity takeoffs for materials, equipment / labor needs, and schedule durations. Must have outstanding organizational skills. Strong attention to detail.
