Planning Manager – South West & Wales

Planning Manager is currently required by a leading main contractor to join their business and to be responsible for projects in the Wales & West area. Their need to bolster their planning team is a direct result of recently winning some substantial projects in the region ranging in value of up to £200m.

The Planning Manager will report into the Regional Planning Manager and join a team that is seven planners strong. The Planning Manager will be able to fill either a site based role on one of their current projects or office based in Cardiff working on a variety of tenders and or preferred bidder projects.

The successful candidate will be an individual who is ambitious for success and keen to be a part of a winning team with the ability to think and approach challenges laterally and creatively.

Candidate

·        Minimum of 5 years planning experience.

·        Strong site and tender experience.

·        Ability to create a programme from scratch.

·        Experience on projects £20m plus desirable.

·        Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate the programme to site teams.

·        Team player.
