URGENT - CONTRACT PLANNING ENGINEER/PLANNER ROLE – LONDON – CONSTRUCTION – ASTA – NEW BUILD/REFURB – RATE TO £380 PER DAY – SOME HOME WORKING ON OFFER.
The position is with a leading main contractor to work out of their office in Central London. The role has arisen due to a high increase in workload and will focus on tender planning. There are 2 projects, an office refurbishment and a student accommodation scheme. This role will entail the use of Asta Powerproject and will be office based. This contract is initially for 10 weeks and there will be an offer of 2-3 days per week for a following 3 months afterwards. Due to the urgency surrounding this position, the contactor is allowing this role to be partly worked from home (max 2 days per week).
The candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years planning experience with a UK main contractor (ESSENTIAL)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience working within a main contractor environment
- Will hold a strong tender planning background working on construction projects either in new build or refurb and fit out
- Will be strong and conversant users of Asta Powerproject software
- A site planning background would be desired but not essential
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
