Executive positions
It is expected that you will have a minimum of 15 years claims experience in the construction industry as a delay, disruption, and damage analyst. You will have a demonstrated ability to lead and produce independent expert delay/disruption analysis reports, knowledge of all methods of delay and disruption analysis, and the ability to direct multiple claims teams. You will have also written and signed an expert report for a major claim, and be experienced in business development and proposal development.
Desired requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in engineering, accounting, finance, or business
- 10 years minimum combined project management experience in at least 2 of the following sectors; oil & gas, power, petrochemical, mining, pipelines, and infrastructure.
- 15 years minimum combined claims experience in at least 3 of the following sectors; oil & gas, power, petrochemical, mining, pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Designated as expert witness
- Provided expert witness testimony in court or arbitration
- Extensive experience in management of project controls systems
- Experience working with multi-national and government organisations
- Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6; MS Project 2007 or higher; all MS products 2007 or higher
- Ability to direct and perform research and analysis on complex process and situations.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment and all organisational levels
- Able to develop good working relationships with attorneys and clients
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Have testified in at least 1 adjudication , trial or arbitration hearing
- Have presented on delay and disruption topics in a conference or other venue
- Willing and able to travel when required
Junior/Mid-level positions
Requirements:
- Degree qualifications in engineering
- A minimum of five years’ experience in either design, project management, project controls or construction based roles, preferably on infrastructure, oil and gas or industrial projects
- Significant experience independently undertaking delay analysis and research, reviewing projects’ programmes, preparing and drafting experts’ reports
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills across all levels
- Willingness to undertake all activities to assist the delay expert team
- Advanced Excel skills, and the ability to adeptly sort and manipulate large amounts of data
- Experience with planning software such as Primavera 3 and P6 desirable
- Ability to travel to clients’ sites as required
Additionally, you will be naturally analytical, and able to derive clear and concise conclusions from large amounts of data. You will be able to write coherent clear and succinct text that can be incorporated by our experts into a report.
