URGENT – Permanent, Planning Manager or Project Control Manager, Primavera P6, Heathrow, Salary up to £70,000 + package
This role is to work for a leading main contractor and will be based at Heathrow Airport. The position will be to act as the Planning Manager for a small team that works on schemes from £300,000 – £20 million in value working closely with BAA to deliver a mix of jobs that include road-works, baggage extensions, fit out of waiting rooms etc. You would be expected to get involved with tender planning for jobs/projects not only at Heathrow but also at Stanstead and Gatwick Airports, liaising with sub-contractors, project managers and clients, earned value management, maintaining as-built programmes, offering advice on resource requirements, recruitment, pre-contract meetings, presenting to clients, project controls, programming, and the management of this small team. The software in use is Primavera P6. This position incorporates building, civils and m & e.

The candidate will hold the following:
- Minimum of 6 years planning experience
- A relevant degree or masters qualification
- Some project controls experience is essential
- A good mix of tender and site planning experience
- Management or mentoring skills are essential for this position
- Will have a good knowledge and experience of building, civils and m & e projects
- You will ideally have worked on airport projects previously
- A strong background using Primavera P6
- Will have good personal and written skills
- Experience of presenting to clients and of client liaison
- Earned Value Management experience
- A full UK driving licence
- Will be eligible to live and work in the UK
