Senior Planner - Construction & Property - London, UK (ref TB243)

We have just been engaged by a well-known management consultancy, a large company who are active UK-wide (and internationally) across a range of construction sectors and projects.  A major new commission means they are now looking to recruit a Senior Planner, based in London.  Working as part of a team of planning and project management staff, you will act on behalf of their client to ensure that construction schedules proposed by various contractors are robust, deliverable and represent good value for money.  You’ll need to combine software-based skills to manipulate, analyse and report on data, alongside a thorough understanding of how projects are put together at ground level.



It’s an important position, and you’ll have a critical impact on the company’s ongoing success.  To be considered, you’ll MUST:



-  have a background in UK main contracting for the construction, rail or aviation sectors;

- able to demonstrate experience of projects in excess of £20m;

- possess a strong background in project planning – not just driving the software, but also having a real understanding of actual construction techniques and sequences.



In return, you’ll be rewarded with a salary in the range of £50k to £60k + competitive benefits package.
